The Homeowner Protection Office (HPO) is a crown agency established by the B.C. Government in October 1998 to proactively address the issues identified by the Commission of Inquiry into the quality of condominium construction. The Homeowner Protection Office was created to ensure a renewal of quality and confidence in British Columbia's residential construction industry.
